We are currently seeking a full-time Production Supervisor for our West Jordan office.
The Audio Enhancement Production Supervisor oversees daily operations and manages the production team to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing. This role focuses on optimizing productivity coordinating team activities maintaining quality standards and fostering a safe positive work environment. Acting as a liaison between the team and management the Supervisor ensures clear communication and adherence to schedules and procedures.
Additional responsibilities include tracking production orders and build times training and onboarding employees facilitating material availability identifying and resolving bottlenecks maintaining workflow and generating reports to monitor production performance. The Supervisor also ensures compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
Duties Include:
- Follow SOPs and Work Instructions and ensure they are followed by all team members
- Evaluating systems tools and machine resources to ensure continual production and minimal downtime
- Supervise and coordinate production team activities to meet goals
- Assign tasks monitor progress and provide guidance and support to team members
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback to management on individual and team achievements
- Monitor production to identify and correct bottlenecks on the production line
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Monitor inventory levels for open production builds
- Report material shortages or discrepancies to management
Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) guidelines
- Use of hand and power tools
- Develop experience with managing internal customer relationships
- Experience managing others
- Basic experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Has knowledge and experience working on production projects as a Subject matter Expert (SME)
- Analyzes a problem by maintaining ownership until a resolution is provided
- Thorough understanding of AE procedures and policies of other departments and functions
- Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills in all situations with internal customers
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and dependable
- Self-motivated and willing to be self-taught
- Confident in making decisions
- Commitment to quality efficiency and workplace safety
- Works well with little or no supervision
Compensation and Benefits: Hourly wage is negotiable based on skill level and experience.
