In this role you will play a key part in providing personalized instruction and targeted interventions that help students thrive. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable and caring educator who excels at adapting instruction working closely with colleagues and fostering a learning environment where every student feels supported valued and capable of meaningful growthacademically socially and emotionally.
This position involves providing targeted academic support using evidence-based instructional practices while developing reviewing and monitoring IEPs that align with district standards and individual student goals. The educator will also teach critical social emotional and executive functioning skills that contribute to students long-term success. Collaboration is essential in this role as you will work closely with caregivers teachers and school staff to create supportive engaging learning environments that promote meaningful progress for every student.
Requirements
Qualified candidates should have demonstrated experience working as a Special Education Teacher or in a closely related instructional role with a strong foundation in supporting students with a wide range of learning needs and disabilities. Applicants must hold a valid Georgia Professional Educator Certificate in Special Education. A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university is required while a masters degree in Special Education or a related field is highly preferred.
