A. F. Ferguson & Co. (a member firm of the PwC network) is seeking a Project Trainee for the Chief Data Office department. This role involves supporting and assisting in the implementation and maintenance of data governance processes within our firm.Driven by curiosity you are a reliable contributing member of a our fast-paced environment you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments each presenting varying challenges and scope. Examples of the responsibilities you need to lead and deliver at this level include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Assist in evaluating data sets for accuracy completeness and consistency and support theimplementation of data quality metrics and KPIs.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of governance policies and procedures.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and quality requirementsidentifying areas for improvement.
Help facilitate training sessions and workshops on data governance best practices.
Prepare reports on data quality metrics and governance activities.
Document findings and create presentations for stakeholders as needed.
Aid in the execution of data governance projects tracking progress and providing updates to theteam.
Help maintain repositories to ensure accurate and consistent data definitions across local andglobal dictionaries.
Requirements:
Candidates must be currently in their last year of pursuing a bachelors degree.
Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint Excel Word) for data analysis andreporting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in project management and stakeholder engagement.
Curiosity to learn resilience cultural awareness and a can-do attitude
