Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician at AmeriPharma we have various positions available ranging from customer service data entry billing and traditional pharmacy technician duties. Placement options will be discussed during an in-person interview.
Schedule Details
- In-Person (Orange CA)
- 8 hour shift/40 hours a week within hours of operations: Monday - Friday 6:00am-6:00pm Saturdays 7:00am-3:30pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare prescription orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner
- Verify prescription information and dosage
- Complete orders and refills under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas
- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician License
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and analytical skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to perform task accurately and efficiently
- Reliable and dependable
- Positive and optimistic
- Attentive and detailed
- Must have open availability and willing to work weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years experience working in a Pharmacy (entry level candidates welcome)
