Requisition Summary
Peterbilt Motors Company a PACCAR Company has an opening for anEngineeringInternto add to our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Team in Denton Texas.
Job Responsibilities
This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limitedto:
Design/prototype/test/modify returnable racks for parts
Incorporate hand tool models into Creo master models for clearance checks
Assist with testing various prototype software
Assist with prototype builds of new products
Assist with pilot coordination activities for preproduction builds
Document department processes (pilot truck build coordinator PFMEA standard fasteners etc.)
Create manufacturing tool list by assembly area
Support increased build capacity projects
Create/input PFMEAs to new database format
Develop labor study database
Automate plant quality data extraction and generate report
Create new project scope requests
Further develop Design for Assembly (DFA) training materials
Duties may also include involvement on battery electric vehicles autonomous vehicles fuel cells alternative fuels or other new technology projects
Required Qualifications
The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in an Engineering or a related program.
