Job Summary
Position Title: Nursing RN Labor & Delivery
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Job Type: Contract Travel
Shift: Nights (312-hour shifts)
Local Pay Range: $60$62/hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Nursing RN Labor & Deliveryfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.
Responsibilities
Provide safe high-quality nursing care to laboring antepartum and postpartum patients.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with departmental standards.
Conduct and document physical psychological and social assessments from admission through discharge.
Develop patient-specific care plans and communicate essential information to the care team.
Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed.
Utilize electronic nursing documentation and clinical information systems effectively.
Serve as a resource for patient care staff orientation and training.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives including monitoring care indicators and evaluating patient outcomes.
Adhere to safety infection control and blood/body fluid handling protocols at all times.
Maintain professional competency through ongoing education and skills development.
Stay current with perinatal best practices regulations and age-appropriate care standards.
Uphold confidentiality professionalism and service excellence in all patient and team interactions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
BLS (Basic Life Support).
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Course completed within the last 2 years.
Successful completion of facility-specific pharmacology requirements.
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
Recent Labor & Delivery/OB experience within the past 2 years.
Preferred:
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification.
