Job Summary
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead multiple 220kV / 400kV / 765kV AC and HVDC transmission line projects simultaneously.
Own project planning: timelines resource allocation budgets and execution strategies.
Solve high-level engineering/construction issues and provide on-ground decision support to teams.
Ensure minimum downtime and zero-delay commissioning through proactive risk mitigation.
Engineering & Technical Governance
Approve route survey outcomes design packages tower spotting and technical drawings.
Ensure compliance with CEA POSOCO IS/IEC state transmission utility norms.
Drive adoption of digital tools for design & monitoring (PLS-CADD Primavera/MSP GIS tools).
Review vendor qualification & material specs for towers conductors and OPGW systems.
Commercial & Contract Management
Lead tendering technical bid evaluation contract negotiation & award strategies.
Control project costs validate contractor claims variation orders and billing.
Ensure strong governance of EPC partner performance with defined SLAs & KPIs.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Management
Liaise with SLDC/STU PGCIL Discoms Railways Forest NHAI etc. for approvals & shutdown planning.
Manage Right of Way (RoW) clearance through government and community engagement.
Quality & Safety Leadership
Drive implementation of QA/QC plans across geographies.
Champion high safety standards with zero LTI objectives.
Conduct periodic audits & ensure closure of NCRs / improvement actions.
Team Development
Build and mentor strong execution and engineering teams for multi-site coordination.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with Substation SCM Finance HSSE & O&M functions.
