Job Description:	The University of Florida seeks applications for a Clinical Assistant/AssociateProfessor of Research and Evaluation Methodology(REM)inthe College of Education. TheCollege is a community of collaborative and energetic faculty who value scholarshipexcellence in teaching anda high levelof professional service. This is a 12-month position with teaching and service as theprimary responsibilities. Successful candidates willdemonstratethe ability to teach applied researchmethodologycoursesinqualitative research methodsto bothREM majors and non-majors show a commitment to graduate education and serve on program school college anduniversity committees. This 12-month appointment will begin in August2026. The REM program is housed within the School of Human Developmentand Organizational Studies (HDOSE) in the College of Education. The REM program ( hassevenfull-time faculty and robust that offer comprehensionmethodological training in statistics psychometrics evaluation and qualitative methods. The comprehensive programintegrates rigorous academic coursework with research experience and interdisciplinary collaboration with other fields ofeducation and social sciences. The REM program also offers applied evaluation andmethodologycourses to graduate andundergraduate students within theCollege ofEducation and across the university campus. Responsibilities: Teach applied graduate-level courses inqualitativeresearch methodology both in person and online to Ed.D. andPh.D. students from a variety of disciplines. Provide service to the program school college university and the profession. Collaborate with colleagues in course development. Teach (online blended and/or face-to-face) appliedqualitativeresearchmethodologycourses (particularlyclasses infoundations of qualitative methods EDF 6475 and EDF 7483)to students who havedifferent backgroundsinresearch methods. Mentor and engage with graduate students including serving on doctoral committees.
