Job Summary

Position Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Day 58-hour shifts
Local Pay Range: $50$56 per hour

Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a licensed Radiation Therapist to deliver safe and effective radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions. The ideal candidate will provide patient education maintain accurate documentation support departmental operations and ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
Licensed Radiation Therapy Technologist in Massachusetts
ARRT registration within one year of graduation
Current CPR certification

Key Responsibilities:

Treatment Delivery & Patient Care: Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety; educate patients on treatment procedures side effects and self-care; monitor and report patient condition changes.
Documentation & Operational Support: Accurately record treatment details manage scheduling and maintain communication with the care team; support billing organize treatment information and manage portal documentation.
Equipment Safety & Quality Assurance: Assist with equipment warm-ups calibration and report irregularities; follow radiation safety protocols; participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
Dosimetry Planning & Special Procedures: Support treatment planning calculate doses assist with implants and maintain radium flow records.
Education & Professional Development: Mentor radiation therapy students and maintain continuing education credits; perform additional duties to support department operations.
