Job Summary
Position Title: Occupational Therapist (School-Based)
Location: Ashburn VA 20148
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Day Shift 8:50 AM 3:40 PM
Assignment Length: 14 Weeks
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Pay Rate: $45$50/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Occupational Therapist (School-Based)for an exciting job in Ashburn VA.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate students fine motor sensory visual-motor and functional skills
Develop and implement IEP-based occupational therapy goals and services
Deliver individual group and classroom-based OT interventions
Address handwriting self-care sensory regulation and school participation skills
Recommend adaptive equipment assistive technology and environmental modifications
Collaborate with educators therapists families and support staff
Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
Maintain accurate documentation progress notes and service records
Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
Active or eligible Virginia OT license
NBCOT certification
Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy
Knowledge of IDEA IEP processes and child development
Strong communication organization and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Prior school-based OT experience
Experience with developmental delays autism spectrum disorder or physical disabilities
Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment
