Job Summary

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of childrens developmental levels to tailor play-based therapy plans effectively
Develop and implement individualized therapeutic activities that promote motor cognitive social and emotional development through play
Engage children in interactive play sessions that encourage communication problem-solving and social skills
Collaborate closely with families caregivers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and reinforce developmental goals at home and in other settings
Monitor and document each childs progress regularly adjusting therapy strategies as needed to maximize growth
Educate families on developmental milestones and provide guidance on supporting their childs development through everyday activities
Maintain a safe welcoming environment that fosters trust and enthusiasm for learning through play
Requirements
Strong knowledge of child development principles and evidence-based play therapy techniques
Bachelor degree in human service field
Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with children families and team members
Ability to create engaging developmentally appropriate activities tailored to individual needs
Patience empathy and a positive attitude to motivate children during therapy sessions
Experience working with children with diverse developmental challenges is preferred but not required
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Certification or training in developmental therapy or related fields is a plus
