POSITION TITLE: Senior Director of Architecture

Location: Burbank CA (Hybrid)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Director of Software Architecture to lead the architectural vision and evolution of Deluxes next-generation technology ecosystem. This role is responsible for defining the architectural frameworks principles and strategies that power Deluxes global content localization and fulfillment workflows.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic technology leader and a hands-on architect capable of shaping large-scale cloud-native systems that integrate AI automation and digital supply chain technology. This leader will partner closely with Product Engineering Infrastructure and Operations teams to ensure that Deluxes software platforms are scalable secure and aligned with business goals across all lines of service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define and drive Deluxes enterprise architecture strategyaligning cloud data and application architectures with business needs across localization and fulfillment workflows.
Establish and enforce architecture standards and design principles to ensure scalability interoperability and reliability across systems spanning content ingestion transformation quality control and delivery.
Lead modernization initiatives to evolve legacy systems into flexible cloud-native platforms that support automation AI/ML and global scalability.
Oversee architectural governance across distributed teams and servicesensuring design consistency cost efficiency and compliance with security and data protection standards.
Mentor and develop architects and senior engineers fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and technical excellence.
Partner with Product and Engineering to establish technical roadmaps ensuring architecture supports rapid innovation while maintaining operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:
15 years of experience in software engineering and architecture with 4 years in technical leadership roles.
Proven success leading enterprise-scale software architecture for distributed mission-critical systemsideally within media entertainment or digital supply chain domains.
Strong expertise in cloud-native design (AWS preferred) microservices event-driven architecture and data-driven workflows.
Experience integrating AI/ML pipelines media processing frameworks or workflow automation systems at scale.
Exceptional ability to translate complex business requirements into cohesive architectural blueprints and actionable execution plans.
Proven leadership influencing cross-functional teams balancing long-term technical vision with pragmatic delivery.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Leadership in a global media technology organization engaging with engineers across the globe.
Familiarity with media supply chain standards (e.g. IMF HDR Dolby Vision adaptive streaming localization metadata).
Experience with content security digital rights management (DRM) and compliance frameworks.
Hands-on understanding of workflow automation content versioning and metadata-driven delivery systems.

This role is based in Burbank CA and the base pay range for this role is $208000.00 - $260000.00 annually. Actual amounts will vary depending on education skills experience and geographic location.
