Department Overview

Due to continued growth our Audit & Assurance team is expanding its specialist practice in aviation leasing securitisation and asset management. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to dynamic and fast-evolving sectors working with a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients including investment funds special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and aviation finance structures.

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals who are self-motivated take initiative and have the ability to plan manage and deliver high-quality audit engagements. Youll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team with opportunities to develop deep sector expertise and work on complex cross-border audit assignments.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of audit engagements including planning fieldwork and reporting stages.
• Perform in-depth audit procedures including risk assessments control testing and substantive audit work.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.
• Develop a strong understanding of clients businesses particularly in aviation structured finance and asset management sectors.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all audit work is completed in compliance with professional standards regulatory requirements and firm methodologies.
• Contribute to the enhancement of audit processes and tools to drive efficiency and maintain high audit quality.
• Stay up to date with developments in auditing standards accounting frameworks (especially IFRS) and relevant sector regulations through continuous professional development.

Skills and Attributes

• A minimum of 3 years experience in external audit ideally within a professional services firm.
• Qualified accountant (ACA ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge with practical experience applying IFRS; knowledge of UK/Irish GAAP or US GAAP is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in managing audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Exposure to a diverse client portfolio; experience with aviation leasing SPVs funds or financial services clients is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently take initiative and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ambitious proactive and committed to a long-term career in practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead teams and build rapport with clients.
