DescriptionAs an Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell You will report directly to our Senion Engineering program manager and youll work out of our Phoenix AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role you will impact the design and architectural aspects of complex flight management systems ensuring that they align with Honeywells quality standards and industry best practices. Your work will result in enhanced operational efficiency improved decision-making and greater competitiveness in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive development teams to implement different functions by creating technical roadmaps developing systems and executing system-level testing.
Drive and perform system test automation using the current automation framework.
Provide support for maintaining benches across sites.
Support integration and testing activities across software components.
Participate in troubleshooting and issue resolution under guidance from senior engineers.
Document technical specifications test results and system updates.
Collaborate with design V&V and operations teams to ensure smooth functional-level execution.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in engineering processes.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics.
- 3 or more years of experience in systems engineering.
- 1 or more years of experience in system and software integration.
