What Youll Do:
As an M&A Intern at Group 1 Automotive you will have the opportunity to work closely with our M&A professionals on strategic projects and transactions. Under the guidance of experienced dealmakers you will gain hands-on experience in all stages of the M&A process from deal sourcing and due diligence to negotiation and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on potential acquisition targets and market trends.
- Assist in financial modeling and valuation analysis.
- Prepare presentations and investment memos for senior management and stakeholders.
- Support due diligence efforts including data gathering and analysis.
- Assist in the negotiation and execution of M&A transactions.
- Support integration planning and post-merger integration activities.
Qualifications:
- Junior or Senior status currently pursuing a degree in Finance Business Administration or related field.
- Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
