Position Overview
Our client a national multidisciplinary engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to support building systems projects across commercial institutional and industrial sectors. This role blends technical electrical design project coordination and client-facing responsibilities.
The Electrical Engineer III develops construction documents leads portions of the project lifecycle supports client communication and provides mentorship to junior engineers and designers. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team with strong project diversity and advancement potential.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project timelines deliverables and communication between the design team and the client.
Assist in preparing proposals and engineering agreements.
Produce electrical design elements aligned with project scope specifications and allocated hours.
Develop complete electrical construction documents suitable for permitting.
Research and evaluate design solutions consistent with project requirements.
Prepare accurate engineering specifications within project parameters.
Execute QA/QC procedures consistently and accurately.
Coordinate with internal disciplines and external partners.
Provide project consultation related to schedules deadlines site surveys punch lists building codes and standards.
Represent the engineering team in client meetings throughout design and construction.
Prepare project documentation professionally and efficiently.
Support onboarding mentoring and oversight of junior engineers and designers.
Ensure timely billing submission for assigned projects.
Follow established standards procedures and work practices.
Collaborate on continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes and reduce costs.
Perform additional duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering.
5 years of electrical engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of building codes engineering standards and construction processes.
Ability to interpret and produce construction drawings.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Understanding of drafting standards and coordination across trades.

Compensation
Estimated starting salary: $85000 $115000
Final compensation is based on experience and credentials.
Work Authorization
