The Program Manager Leadership Development is a high-impact role responsible for the planning design execution and measured success of enterprise-wide leadership development initiatives. This role is essential for fueling our results-focused high-performing culture by ensuring leaders at all levels possess the capabilities needed to achieve ambitious business goals by adopting and consistently demonstrating the mindset and behaviors of our JM Family Way Leadership Model. This role will leverage data strategic vendor partnerships and innovative learning science to manage a variety of programs that drive measurable impact in talent effectiveness and organizational performance. This role partners with other members of the Talent Management team HR colleagues and business leaders.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Design and Programmatic Execution
Program Strategy & Design: Scope projects design new or enhance existing programs and measure the effectiveness of leadership programs that are directly tied to our top business priorities and values. Lead and co-create development programs workshops and initiatives that are fully integrated into the broader talent development strategy.
Agile Delivery: Drive strategic priorities utilizing an agile programmatic approach to ensure rapid prototyping testing and successful delivery of high-quality initiatives.
Market Intelligence & Competitiveness: Maintain market competitiveness and conduct external benchmarking to ensure all programs are current innovative and meet the development needs of both today and the future.
Scheduling and Coordination: Identify the necessary number and type of programs offered based on current and future demand to manage the program calendar room bookings and executive facilitation involvement.
Partnerships and Accountability
Strategic Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted consultative partner to HR colleagues and leaders diagnosing critical individual and organizational capability gaps and deploying targeted collaborative solutions. Develop programs that aim to close key organizational skill gaps as measured by internal talent data and executive feedback.
Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with other team members lead projects through influence and align on shared outcomes that integrate with other related talent initiatives.
Vendor and Resource Management: Manage external vendor partnerships to maximize service delivery while focusing on strong cultural fit and maximizing the value of the vendor relationship. Perform continuous performance audits to ensure complete alignment with organizational and program goals.
Execution Excellence: Manage the entire project lifecycle: discovery design development piloting testing feedback loops execution and measurement of a variety of complex initiatives.
Measurement and Learning Innovation
Data-Driven Impact: Implement robust measurement and listening strategies to track program performance support reinforcement and ensure sustainment. Consistently use data on leader performance and employee engagement to iterate and refine programs.
Data Storytelling: Craft compelling messages that demonstrate the JM Family Way programs impact that may be used for executive updates program communications and marketing plans.
Qualifications:
Experience & Results: 5 years of dedicated experience in program management with a proven track record of developing and executing successful large-scale development programs for a variety of audiences preferably in a people/talent related domain.
Change Management: 4 years of experience managing changes related to new large-scale programs and initiatives with an orientation for user-centricity.
Project Delivery: Experience with agile project delivery methodologies.
Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple enterprise-wide programs and initiatives concurrently and manage current programs while planning for future ones.
Talent Systems Expertise: Prefer experience working with talent management systems and utilizing performance management tools/frameworks (e.g. talent analytics performance data skills assessments) to continuously improve talent initiatives.
Reporting and Measurement: Experience identifying relevant data analyzing and reporting data to measure effectiveness and impact.
Partnership and Facilitation: History of successful collaboration with business leaders and HR partners to align talent strategies. Experience in facilitating project meetings and high-impact workshops and training sessions.
Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Business Organizational Development Product or Program Management etc.). A Masters degree in Organizational Psychology or Organizational Development or a related field is preferred.
