Essential Job Functions

• Provide technical leadership and support to a team of software engineers in the development of software products and solutions including guidance code reviews and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure the successful delivery of software initiatives.

• Mentor and support the professional development of team members through regular feedback coaching and career development planning.

• Contribute to the execution of the broader software engineering strategy by participating in strategic planning and technology evaluations.

• Manage project tasks and assignments assisting in prioritization and planning to meet project milestones and deliverables.

• Monitor project timelines resource allocation and budgets to ensure efficient and timely execution.

• Proactively identify assess and mitigate project risks resolving issues as they arise.

• Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous learning within the engineering team.

Mandatory Skills (Non-Negotiable) minimum of 5 years of experience:

> Primary

• PHP

• Java

> Secondary

• JavaScript

Preferred Basic Knowledge:

• MS Visual Basic 6

• C#

• PL/SQL

• MS ASP 3.0

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience including at least 2 years in a similar leadership or mentoring role.

• Strong programming debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated experience in mentoring or leading technical teams.

• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and industry best practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Eagerness to grow and take on increasing leadership responsibilities.
