Our Summer Internship Program at TransUnion will allow you to use & develop the skills youve learned in school while participating in engaging events such as: career development workshops networking events and guest speakers throughout this paid 12-week internship beginning in May 18 2026 or June 15 2026 depending on academic calendar.
What Youll Bring:
Must be graduating by June 2027or earlierand currently enrolled inanundergraduate or graduate program indata sciencestatistics mathematics engineering operations research economics or a related quantitative field.
Experience with Big Data Technologies including Apache Hadoop Hive Spark Python etc.
Experience writing SQL queries.
Strong written language skills and familiarity with technical documents such as data dictionaries and process flow diagrams. Able to write instructions and procedural documentation.
Experience in Linux command-line tools
Familiarity with interactive data visualization tools like Tableau.
Impact Youll Make:
Assistwith development and analysis of identity data using advanced data science techniques. Help develop data quality measurement techniques.
Assistwith developing a user interface geared towards hundreds of data scientists who are using the Big Data platform in finding various data assets and other capabilities within the platform.
Produce operational dashboards and reports to manage this critical Big Data platform.
Update andmaintaininternal web pages to track and report on data assets.
Maintain data dictionaries and prepare documentation of data analyses performed.
Analyze andevaluatingnew data assets TransUnion is interested in.
The pay range for this role is $22.00 -40.00 per hour. *The pay range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion actual compensation is based on careful consideration ofadditionalfactors such as (but limited to) an individuals education and experience.
