Day to day:
- Technical and disciplinary management of the AML 1st Line team including conducting employee appraisals target agreement and review capacity planning planning of task completion and prioritization and ensuring the required quality
- Assess or approve Customer Due Diligence (CDD) assessments and ensure that regulatory requirements are embedded in daily activities to support the business in achieving their budgeted targets.
- Implementation of intra-group and regulatory requirements regarding the prevention of money laundering and financial crime
- Further development and optimization of existing processes and systems
- Internal reporting and data analysis answering both internal and external requests
- Preparation and participation in internal and external audits
- Liaising / collaborating with other local stakeholders on system implementations system enhancements and system testing.
- Liaising with Corporate on various matters and being a central / key contact point for local AML / FEC matters in country for Corporate
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of suspicious activities and transactions.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the organisations AML practices are compliant

Essentials:
- A degree in business administration legal faculties and/or comparable education
- Solid experience within the financial services sector
- At least 5 years of professional experience in customer due diligence and financial crime
- You have 2 years leadership experience
- Familiar with the EU AML Requirements and local Italian requirements
- You are fluent in Italian and English
- You have good Office skills (esp. Excel) and can quickly familiarize you with various software tools
- You are familiar with reporting to corporate and local stakeholders
- You are committed and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic regulatory environment and open to continuous development
- You are customer-oriented
- You are open and communicative and can communicate confidently and appropriately at all hierarchical levels
- You bring a structured self-responsible way of working as well as solution-oriented thinking and acting
- You are resilient and keep an eye on the goal even in challenging situations
