What Youll Do
As a Mechanical Engineer at NCC you will:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks for CAD drawings and 3D modeling.
- Maintain and optimize production processes to improve efficiency safety and sustainability.
- Collaborate with plant teams and management to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support equipment procurement installation and troubleshooting.
- Apply Lean principles to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements across all projects.
- Travel expectation: You will be expected to travel up to 25% as part of your role.
What Were Looking For
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or manufacturing.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanics metal forming and finishing processes.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD design (SolidWorks required).
- Experience with manufacturing equipment procurement and installation.
- Familiarity with Lean tools and applications.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to distinguish colors for quality control (frequent).
- Occasional bending stooping and light lifting.
- Periods of sitting or standing as needed.
