Job Description
Hedrick Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dedicated and collaborative ED this role you will triage assess treat and coordinate the care and disposition of patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. Youll work alongside a supportive and team-oriented group of professionals committed to delivering exceptional care to our community.
Shift: Full Time Nights rotating holidays and weekends
Position Highlights:
Responsibilities:
Triage and prioritize incoming patients based on acuity
Deliver timely and efficient emergency nursing care
Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Manage documentation and patient education during the emergency care process
Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
