Registered Nurse Emergency Department (ED) Travel Position
Location: Tucson AZ
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 312 Nights
Pay: $2059.20/week (plus $2500 completion bonus per contract up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson AZ. The ED RN will deliver high-quality compassionate care to patients in critical and urgent situations ensuring rapid response and effective treatment in a fast-paced emergency environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with acute or life-threatening conditions.
- Triage patients according to severity and initiate appropriate care protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans.
- Administer prescribed medications treatments and interventions as needed.
- Monitor and document patients vital signs symptoms and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans discharge instructions and follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience (travel experience preferred).
- Current BLS ACLS and PALS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable).
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
- Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
