Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all phases of employment litigation including discrimination harassment and retaliation claims.

  • Manage FLSA and wage and hour matters including class and collective actions.

  • Conduct legal research draft pleadings motions and memoranda.

  • Take and defend depositions manage discovery and interview witnesses.

  • Prepare EEOC position statements DFEH responses and other administrative filings.

  • Provide advice and counsel to employers on compliance with federal state and local employment laws including:

  • COVID-related regulations and workplace safety laws

  • ADA/FEHA compliance and disability accommodation

  • FMLA CFRA PDL and other leave laws

  • Offer guidance on labor relations employee relations and internal investigations.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

  • Active California Bar membership in good standing.

  • 47 years of experience in employment litigation.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of California and federal employment laws.

  • Experience managing cases independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

  • Strong research analytical and writing skills with a high attention to detail.

  • Excellent client service orientation and ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

  • A proactive organized and motivated approach to building a long-term career in employment law.
