This position is onsite at our Clarkston inventory warehouse.

Description

We are seeking a ServiceNow IT Asset Management Specialist to join our IT Field Servicesteam responsible for asset inventory. This role is responsible formaintaining ServiceNows IT Asset Management module (ITAM) to ensure accurate tracking lifecycle management and optimization of IT assets across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) asset lifecycle processes and ITIL best practices. This individual will perform site audits dashboarding monitoring and replicating asset management structure for site stock rooms. This position will primarily be onsite at our Clarkston GA inventory site.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure customize and maintain the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management module (HAM).

  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets (hardware software licenses contracts consumables).

  • Develop and maintain asset management policies procedures and workflows.

  • Ensure compliance with licensing agreements procurement standards and audit requirements.

  • Collaborate with IT procurement and finance teams to align asset management with business needs.

  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility into asset inventory usage and costs.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize asset utilization and reduce costs.

  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on asset management processes.

  • Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates and industry best practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience with ServiceNow Asset Management (configuration customization and administration).

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM).

  • Experience with asset lifecycle management procurement and vendor management.

  • Ability to create workflows reports and dashboards in ServiceNow.

  • ServiceNow certification(s) preferred (i.e. CIS-HAM or HAM Fundamentals etc.).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma plus A Certification required.
  • 2 years of Information Technology experience.
  • 4 years Information Technology experience required in lieu A certification.
