Role Title: 1st Class Shipfitter Location: Lockport LouisianaEmployment Type: Full Time Shift: Days Job Summary: We are seeking experienced 1st Class Shipfitters for a Shipyard that does outside New Construction work in Lockport. Candidates must be willing to work 40 to 50 hours. All Shipfitters will have to pass a hand-on test and interview with the supervisor. Key RequirementsMust Have Minimum 3 years of experience as a 1st Class have all Shipfitters tools Must pass a drug screenMust have some form of transportation to and from workPreferred Qualifications Experience with industrial or Fabrication shop Ship fitting Strong knowledge of Ship fitting safety reliability and consistent attendance. Experience working indoor and outdoor Ship fitting environment.
