Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie specializing in Italian cuisine to join our culinary team in 6th of October City Egypt. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen ensuring the highest quality of Italian dishes are prepared and presented to our guests.
- Manage and operate a designated section of the kitchen such as pasta antipasti or main courses
- Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes with precision and creativity
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and refine menu items
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation across all dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in your section
- Assist in inventory management and food cost control
- Contribute to menu planning and seasonal dish development
- Uphold the restaurants standards and reputation for exceptional Italian cuisine
Qualifications :
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role preferably in high-volume Italian restaurants
- Proven expertise in Italian regional cuisines ingredients and cooking methods
- Strong culinary techniques and proficiency in preparing a wide range of Italian dishes
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards with relevant certification
- Proficient in kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Creative approach to menu planning and dish presentation
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian language is a plus
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
