Market Data License Specialist (fmd)

Join Axpo Bulgaria EAD as a Market Data License Manager and play a pivotal role in managing licenses for Market and Geo data across the Axpo Group. Collaborate with senior traders quants data scientists and risk managers to ensure compliance cost-effectiveness and strategic alignment in a dynamic energy environment.

What you will do:

• Coordinate with users (e.g. senior traders and management) to identify and communicate Market Data requirements
• Ensure compliance with license agreements for data routing in systems (e.g. customer portals Data Platforms)
• Manage and improve the Market Data Inventory System and support stakeholders in using self-management tools like RPM
• Administer LSEG Platform (PAA) accounts mapping entitlements and collaborating with LSEG support teams
• Drive the strategic role of the Market Data Inventory System within Axpos Data & Analytics landscape
• Oversee audit-related activities mitigating license penalties and supporting supplier audits with structured input
• Ensure licenses are allocated in compliance with supplier terms optimize swaps and reduce costs
• Prepare and manage the Market Data budget in collaboration with Controlling and Procurement
• Monitor and optimize market data consumption implementing tools and analytics to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities

What you bring & who you are:

• Must-have: University degree in technical or business management fields
• Must-have: 35 years of experience in the energy industry with relevant skills in Contract management
• Must-have: Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with familiarity in Market Data Systems and tools like Excel or SQL
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Results-oriented proactive and eager to learn and upskill in new tools (e.g. Databricks Unity)
• Ideally experience with data analysis tools and reporting software
