Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Wireless Technology Specialist Lead Engineer to guide and oversee the design implementation optimization and support of advanced wireless communication systems. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge in wireless networking technologies including Wi-Fi 5G RF engineering and related wireless infrastructure. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on engineering capabilities to support enterprise-level wireless solutions.
Key Responsibilities -
Lead the design implementation and optimization of wireless network infrastructure across enterprise environments.

Provide advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning for wireless networking issues.

Evaluate emerging wireless technologies and recommend solutions to enhance network performance and reliability.

Oversee RF site surveys wireless coverage planning capacity planning and spectrum analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams vendors and business stakeholders to define wireless network strategies and standards.

Develop architecture documentation engineering diagrams test plans and technical guidelines.

Lead project planning execution and delivery for large-scale wireless deployments and upgrades.

Ensure wireless security compliance policies and integration aligned with enterprise security standards.

Develop monitoring and analytics strategies for wireless performance and service uptime.

Mentor junior engineers and provide subject-matter expertise in technical decision-making.
Required Qualifications -
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Telecommunications or related discipline.

Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience working with wireless communication technologies and enterprise wireless networks.

Strong expertise in Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) 5G LTE and RF design principles.

Experience with wireless LAN controllers access points antennas and RF propagation tools.

Proficiency with tools such as Ekahau AirMagnet or similar RF design & survey software.

Experience with wireless security protocols including WPA2/WPA3 RADIUS and network authentication.

Strong understanding of network fundamentals including TCP/IP routing switching DNS DHCP and VLANs.

Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects.
Preferred Skills -
Advanced certifications such as CWNA CWDP CWSP CCNP Wireless or similar.

Experience with cellular/5G private networks spectrum licensing and DAS systems.

Experience with cloud-managed wireless solutions (Cisco Meraki Aruba Central etc.).

Knowledge of IoT wireless connectivity protocols such as Bluetooth Zigbee LoRaWAN or NFC.

Experience working in large enterprise environments such as healthcare aviation manufacturing or hospitality.

Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement technical documentation and executive presentation.
