Job Summary

Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Practice Lead
Duration: 12 Months - CTH
Charlotte NC (Onsite) (Only locals or close to Charlotte)

What Youll Do:
  • Lead and mentor a specialized SRE team supporting utility grid systems and operational technology
  • Develop a strategic roadmap for enhancing reliability disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Implement monitoring alerting and incident management processes tailored for utility environments
  • Drive automation to reduce manual operational work and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineers grid operators and developers to embed reliability by design
  • Oversee capacity planning performance optimization and root cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as NERC CIP and FERC
  • Advocate for continuous SRE training and knowledge sharing in critical infrastructure
What Were Looking For:
  • Proven leadership experience in SRE for utilities or critical infrastructure
  • Expertise in reliability engineering monitoring automation and incident response
  • Strong skills with Terraform Ansible Kubernetes and cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and security standards for utility operations
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
