Internal Sales Consultant -Wholesale of Technical Products in Glass & Aluminium
Full-Time Office-Based Cape Town
About the Role
An established wholesaler within the architectural fittings and glass hardware industry is seeking a proactive detail-driven Internal Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team.
This role is ideal for someone who is extroverted and enjoys customer interaction has strong administrative ability and is eager to build deep product knowledge in a technical environment.
You will manage the full internal sales process from quote to invoice ensuring accurate order handling excellent customer service and effective communication across all touchpoints. The position is key to supporting both customers and the external sales structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quotations and process sales orders accurately
- Assist walk-in clients and respond to telephonic/email enquiries
- Support customers with product information and basic technical guidance
- Manage customer onboarding and maintain accurate account records
- Handle credits stock returns and payment follow-ups
- Provide internal administrative support to the sales team
- Build strong product knowledge to confidently assist customers

- Matric Certificate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time-management and multitasking ability
- Customer-centric approach
- Problem-solving and initiative-taking ability
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
Preferred:
- Experience in internal sales within wholesale manufacturing glass hardware or technical products
- Exposure to quoting systems or similar technical sales environments
