Job Title: RN ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
Location: Hyannis MA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 12.5-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 3637.5 hours
Schedule: 3 shifts/week Every other weekend Rotating holidays
Position Overview
A leading healthcare facility in Hyannis MA is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a night-shift travel assignment. The RN will provide critical care services to patients in the ICU and will float between the ICU and CVICU units as needed. Candidates must be comfortable managing high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality evidence-based care to critically ill patients.
Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring.
Manage ventilators drips and advanced critical care equipment.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
Document accurately in the EMR and follow all facility protocols.
Float between ICU and CVICU as required by staffing needs.
Provide patient and family education related to treatment and recovery.
Maintain safety infection control and quality standards at all times.
Requirements
Active RN License (State of MA or compact license if applicable)
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (recent)
Experience working with high-acuity patients ventilators and critical drips
Strong communication and crisis-management skills
Ability to float between ICU and CVICU
Must be willing to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
