As a Control Manager Associate within the Control Management team you will be responsible for ensuring the line of business has a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment identifying and escalating issues with a sense of urgency and partnering with the business to ensure issues are remediated in a timely manner.
JobResponsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders evaluate and perform an end-to-end analysis of the business risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks.
- Ensure that controls are properly designed operating effectively and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols.
- Perform ongoing analysis of program related data and develop ad-hoc reports as requested to support business-related programs and strategies.
- Assist with development of Risk & Control Self-Assessment mapping and documentations through participation in end-to-end process walkthroughs and deep dives with assigned business units.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Experience in business controls operational risk Compliance Legal Audit or similar function with coverage of Markets Sales / Trading businesses
- Excellent in MS office especially in Excel Alteryx Tableau Access Database and Power point
- Understanding of the end to end product life cycle for any products.
- Highly motivated energetic self-starter who takes ownership
- Strong organizational skills - manages and prioritizes multiple tasks across different time horizons within deadlines
- Strong understanding of controls and their application to different processes and businesses
- Strong analytical problem solving and process re-engineering skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player with excellent partnering and influencing skills
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Understanding of the control framework for Markets businesses would be beneficial (Equities Commodities Sales Currencies and emerging markets)
