How Will You Make an Impact:

In this role you will ensure the products our customers know love and depend on are shipped in a timely and safe manner.

A Day in the Life:

• Pick pack sort arrange count store and accurately process items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements while sustaining a high level of quality to ensure customers receive accurate product and in the time requested.
• Receive materials and/or finished goods daily. Verify the quality type and amount of materials received are accurate and that the appropriate documentation is present (e.g. packing list).
• Work in a warehouse environment under various temperatures including room temperature (5986 degrees F) cold-room (36-46 degrees F) and/or freezer-room (minus 4 23 degrees F).
• Safely operate distribution equipment.
• Satisfactorily complete Thermo Fisher Scientific training requirements and operate within all ISO standards pertaining to site Distribution including but not limited to Control of Documents and Quality Policy.
• Provide occasional training and coaching to peers.
• Respond to customer service and other external department inquiries regarding order requirements and/or fulfillment issues.
• Operate PC applications and systems including Microsoft Excel E-1 and SAP.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution warehouse or supply chain or related field
• Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

• Inter-mediate computer proficiency to navigate ERP systems Outlook and shipping software in order to support the operation in its daily functions
• Proven track record to consistently and independently follow policies and procedures instructions and to meet schedules

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
