What Youll Do

• Handle water rights adjudications permitting and regulatory compliance.
• Advise on water rights changes non-use issues exchanges and groundwater/surface water disputes.
• Navigate land-use and zoning processes entitlements and municipal approvals.
• Draft and review real estate agreements regulatory filings and client documents.
• Collaborate across practice groups on environmental natural resources and corporate matters.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients and support firmwide initiatives.
• Supervise junior attorneys and staff as needed.

What You Bring

• 10 years of meaningful experience in water law.
• Utah Bar membership or willingness to obtain.
• Familiarity with land use zoning environmental or natural resources matters preferred.
• Exceptional academic credentials and writing ability.
• Ability to independently manage complex matters and interact with state/local agencies.
• Strong collaborative ethical and communicative mindset.
• Utah ties valued (family education or lifestyle).
