SUMMARY
CATS Training Operations is seeking a collaborative detail-oriented and dynamic facilitator to serve as our next De-escalation Program this pivotal role you will help shape the future of safety-sensitive operations by enhancing employee engagement and support programs evaluating and refining de-escalation and conflict resolution practices driving recruitment and professional development initiatives and upholding the highest standards of social responsibility and community service. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess Program Needs: Identify service and training gaps related to de-escalation employee support and program improvements.
Evaluate Program Effectiveness: Conduct data analysis and performance reviews to ensure training and service initiatives meet established standards and goals.
Coordinate Cross-Functional Projects: Serve as a central point of coordination across teams ensuring alignment communication and timely execution of program activities.
Support Planning and Implementation: Collaborate with administrative staff to develop project timelines implementation strategies and impact reports.
Facilitate Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners including community resource organizations to enhance training services and program delivery.
Integrate Project Plans: Consolidate inputs from various sources into cohesive plans with clear milestones dependencies and deliverables.
Track Progress and Outcomes: Monitor project activities coordinate task completion and report on progress to stakeholders and leadership.
Contribute to Budget Oversight: Support budget planning and track expenditures to ensure responsible use of program resources.
Identify and Mitigate Risks: Analyze potential risks recommend mitigation strategies and communicate updates and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
As a part of your responsibility to support the CATS Safety Culture report safety concerns and issues through the various methods established by CATS as outlined in the ASP
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of current trends and activities associated with best practices for behavioral and crisis intervention.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Public Administration Business Administration Human Resources Education Social Work or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with data analysis reporting and performance evaluation tools.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
The Citys Background Check Policy requires background checks to be conducted on final internal or external candidate(s) applying for any position with the City of Charlotte. The type of information that will be collected as part of a background check includes but is not limited to: reference checks social security verification education verification criminal conviction record check and if applicable a credit history check sex offender registry and motor vehicle records check.
Background checks must be in compliance with all federal and state statutes such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The checks must be consistent with the guidelines set forth by these laws requiring organizations to obtain a candidates written authorization before obtaining a criminal background report motor vehicle records check or credit report; and to properly store and dispose of information derived from such reports.
Final candidates must pass a pre-employment drug-screening test and physical examination. During the selection process candidates may be asked to take a skills test and/or participate in other assessments.
