We have an excellentopportunity for a Senior Administrative Assistantto be based within the Office of the Secretary-General. The successful candidate will support the Office Manager and provide corporate support office-based activities and operational administrative service in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General interfacing with the Office Manager and the Commonwealth organisations on a wide range of issues.
Duties include managing the Secretary-Generals diary drafting and producing correspondence liaising with internal and external parties at all levels and supporting the Secretary-General in official meetings. The successful candidate will also be required to support the Secretary-General in matters relating to travel financial procedures and project work.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need a degree in business administration social sciences or equivalent. You will also need at least five years of demonstrated administrative experience as well as experience in undertaking research and presentations. Please refer to the job description for full details.
