The Role
We are seeking a Safety & Compliance Coordinator with experience in North American transportation compliance programs and certifications such as C-TPAT PIP CSA and SmartWay. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented proactive and ready to contribute to a dynamic compliance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage the Drug and Alcohol Program in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and update driver and vehicle maintenance files.
- Review monitor and update CVOR/NSC/SMS reports.
- Oversee collision files and claims management with insurance providers.
- Track tickets convictions and inspections ensuring timely documentation and follow-up.
- Analyze ELD reports and audit driver logs for compliance with U.S. and Canadian Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with CVOR US DOT CSA C-TPAT PIP FAST and SmartWay standards.
- Oversee plating licensing and IFTA compliance.
- Conduct compliance follow-ups and support MTO/DOT audits.
- Perform annual reviews for drivers and owner-operators.
- Stay current with industry regulatory changes and implement best practices.

- 2-3 years of verifiable safety and compliance experience (transportation industry preferred).
- Familiarity with compliance programs: C-TPAT PIP CSA SmartWay.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Own laptop with reliable high-speed internet connection.
