Partner Staffing on behalf of our client we are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of municipal and industrial water/wastewater facility projects as well as building infrastructure initiatives across the Calgary region. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in complex multi-disciplinary construction projects excels at managing contractors and consultants and ensures projects are delivered safely on schedule and within budget. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that support critical infrastructure and long-term community growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle from planning and procurement through construction commissioning and close-out.
- Lead the coordination of civil mechanical electrical and structural disciplines for water/wastewater treatment facilities and related building infrastructure.
- Oversee contractor performance ensuring adherence to safety quality schedule and cost objectives.
- Prepare and manage project budgets forecasts schedules and risk management plans.
- Administer contracts manage change orders and ensure compliance with specifications regulatory requirements and municipal standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings providing clear reporting to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Resolve technical issues mitigate risks and proactively address project challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering teams permitting agencies and municipal partners to support seamless project execution.
- Ensure construction documentation submittals and reports are accurate complete and maintained.
Qualifications
- 7 years of progressive experience in construction project management preferably in water/wastewater facilities municipal infrastructure or industrial buildings.
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management Engineering Civil Technology or a related discipline work experience.
- Strong understanding of water/wastewater treatment systems process equipment and building infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing contractors construction teams and multi-phase project portfolios.
- Excellent knowledge of Alberta Building Code OH&S regulations and municipal standards.
- Proficient with project management tools (MS Project Primavera or equivalent).
- Strong leadership communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP CET or designation considered an asset.
