We are seeking applicants who:

  • Hold (or are eligible for) registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia including eligibility for a Limited Authority to Teach if applicable
  • Possess a recognised teaching qualification for Western Australia
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
  • Communicate clearly and build positive supportive relationships
  • Understand effective evidence-based strategies aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum
  • Bring strong classroom management skills and a willingness to grow professionally
  • Understand inclusive and differentiated teaching practices
  • Are supportive of the Colleges Christian ethos and align with the Colleges Statement of Faith


Essential criteria

  • A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ
  • Active participation in a church or Christian community that reflects Christian beliefs behaviour and practices
  • Acceptance of the Colleges Statement of Faith
  • Ability to build cooperative and supportive relationships with the Board Principal staff students and parents
  • Commitment to personal best practice
  • Commitment to making impartial fact-based and fair decisions
  • Ability to model appropriate and proper channels of communication
  • Consistent commitment to acting in the best interests of the College and its ethos
  • Adherence to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC
  • Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment in accordance with the Colleges values and policies
    Possession of the following certifications:
    National Police Clearance
    Working with Children Check
    First Aid Certificate
