Are you a compassionate and dedicated professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of others Starlight Behavioral Health an ncgCARE partner is seeking a Behavior Support Professional to join our team and help transform lives through individualized person-centered this vital role you will provide daily hands-on support to individuals with developmental and behavioral needsassisting with personal care daily living tasks and skill development. Guided by each clients Individualized Program Plan (IPP) and behavior support plan you will help promote independence community involvement and overall well-being. Youll also transport clients to medical appointments and community outings document care activities in a timely and accurate manner and respond to crisis situations with professionalism and empathy. Position Description:

• Ensure the health and safety of assigned consumers. This includes reporting any observed deficiencies in acceptable standards of consumer hygiene and environmental cleanliness are met.
• Administer or supervise self-administration of medication per treatment plan and physicians orders.
• Complete all documentation including notes checklists and medication administration records (MAR)at the time service is provided.
• Protect consumer rights and privacy at all times
• Provide transportation to the consumer as outlined in the IPP. If transporting provide current drivers license proof of insurance registration and vehicle inspection (where required) monthly when submitting mileage reimbursement requests.
• Represent the agency and client in a positive manner at all times

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license.
• Ability to pass a WV Cares Federal Background Check.
• Must have reliable transportation (day shift employees only).
• Commitment to working 12-hour shifts as scheduled.
