DCA is recruiting a Team Leader for the Cross-Cutting (CC) Team in PAL. The position is open only to staff members within PAL who hold an open-ended contract as this is an internal recruitment. The role is based in Copenhagen. The Team Leader position will be added to the advisory function of the successful applicant.
Responsibilities for the Team Leader of the Cross-cutting team (25-30%):
- Daily staff management of colleagues in the Cross-Cutting Team supporting them in prioritisation of work tasks competence development and securing a safe and trustful working environment (through 1:1 meetings team meetings follow up to employment satisfaction surveys/wellbeing action plans etc).
- Monitoring the CC team budget in collaboration with the Head of PAL and financial advisor and implementing the CC team plan as part of PALs annual plan.
- Participation in the PAL leadership team to ensure coherence across the teams in PAL and taking co-responsibility for PAL strategic leadership tasks with the Head of Unit.
- Ensuring constructive collaboration with other DCA units especially in the HQ international Department (HRMA SQM GPRM) other departments DCA country offices and international management HQ as relevant.
Requirements:
- Experience with internal coordination and stakeholder management in DCA with other PAL teams/HQ Units and Departments/Country Offices and partners.
- Experience with staff management coordination and team supportis preferred but not a requirement.
- Above all this person is a strong team player and relation builder motivated to lead on staff management and strategic leadership in line with DCAs values as part of DCAs management.

Balanced job description with your current position being 70-75% in your advisory function and 25-30% as a team leader.
The team leader function will come into effect from 1 January 2026.
