Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a job in New York NY.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and design individualized treatment plans to restore function and promote independence.
Conduct therapy programs for patients with physical mental developmental or emotional impairments.
Assess patient abilities set realistic rehabilitation goals and monitor progress.
Provide therapeutic activities to build daily living work and life-management skills.
Document therapy sessions maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Educate caregivers on patient needs and recommend environmental modifications for safety and function.
Participate in group programs health promotion activities and patient evaluations as needed.
Assist with adaptive equipment recommendations and insurance-related approvals.

Requirements:
Active NYS Occupational Therapy License (Required).
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (Required).
NBCOT certification (Preferred).
02 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles and patient-centered care.
Excellent interpersonal skills patience and ability to work with diverse patient needs.
