Job Summary
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Facility/Unit: Respiratory Care
Shift: Night Shift
Hours: Full-Time (12-hour shifts)
Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM every other weekend
Pay Rate: $34.98 $43.15/hr
Samaritan is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join its dynamic healthcare this full-time role the therapist will enhance patient outcomes by delivering high-quality respiratory care and supporting age-appropriate treatment across a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities-
Maintain accurate patient files (paper and electronic)

Enter data into computerized patient records and billing systems

Assess and address age-specific patient care needs

Provide oxygen therapy and CPAP/BiPAP titrations
-
Assist with EEG patient testing as needed
-
Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy accordingly
-
Ensure compliance with respiratory care protocols

Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
-
Current BLS certification required
-
Must be licensed by New York State as RT or RTT

Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience required

Polysomnography experience preferred but not required

Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends
