FINANCE INTERN

SOUTH DAKOTA HOUSING DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

South Dakota Housing is looking for a Finance Intern ready to take on projects and make an impact from day one. This internship provides a balanced mix of hands-on work structured learning field exposure and professional development. If youre interested in finance and ready to learn from experienced professionals this internship is a great opportunity.

As our Finance Intern youll get practical knowledge of housing finance programs and mortgage products; gain exposure to affordable housing operations including lending compliance and portfolio management; and understand SD Housings role in affordable housing finance and community development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicant must be enrolled as a student at a college university or technical institute at the time they apply
By the start of the internship the student should have completed 4 semesters of their chosen program
Preference give to students majoring in one of the following fields: finance business accounting economics urban planning public policy or any other housing related field
Overnight travel may be required
Successful applicant(s) will be required to undergo a background investigation

LOCATION: Pierre SD

STARTING WAGE: $20.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday during business hours. 8-10 weeks May/June through August
