Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I / II) (two posts) in the School of Computing and Data Science (Ref: 533862) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totaling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).
With the establishment of the School of Computing and Data Science we are seeking highly motivated individuals interested in developing their careers in university administration to support the Schools Division Offices.
Applicants should hold a Bachelors degree preferably with two years of relevant work experience. They should possess a good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua) proficiency in MS Office applications a strong sense of responsibility good problem-solving abilities interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Below are the details of the two posts:
The appointee will join one of the Division Offices to provide administrative support for both undergraduate and research postgraduate programmes including the newly launched Delta programme and assisting in coordination of the programme administration team to ensure smooth operations. He/ She will support the Division Head with meeting scheduling coordination and correspondence management. Prior experience of two to three years in programme administration will be an advantage.
The appointee will join one of the Division Offices to maintain daily operations of academic programmes within a comprehensive scope. He/ She will also assist with academic human resources matters and financial processes including postgraduate studentships disbursement of divisional conference and publication grants research personnel appointments and payroll processing.
Those with less relevant experience may be considered for the post of Executive Assistant.
