Job Summary
As the Shop Manager at Northridge Toyota you will lead and oversee the daily operations of our service department to ensure exceptional customer service efficient workflow and high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs. You will be responsible for managing the team of technicians coordinating with parts and sales departments and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your leadership will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and operational excellence at our Northridge CA location.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise service department personnel including technicians.
- Coordinate repair schedules and workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with parts and sales departments to fulfill service requirements and inventory needs.
- Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and manage departmental performance reports.
- Recruit train and evaluate staff to build a skilled and motivated team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive service management or a related leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes and automotive technologies.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with dealership operations and software systems is a plus.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
