Compensation: $165000$185000/year Full-Time Comprehensive Benefits
A leading Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Los Angeles CA serving more than 40000 patients annually is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead all HR functions and drive a culture of engagement growth and accountability.
Position Overview
The HR Director provides strategic and hands-on leadership across HR operations employee relations compliance benefits talent acquisition and workforce planning. This role partners closely with executive leadership and manages an HR team ensuring strong HR systems processes and organizational alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
Lead mentor and develop HR team members
Oversee recruitment retention and workforce planning
Manage employee engagement wellness efforts and employee relations
Ensure compliance with CA employment laws and HR regulatory standards
Manage compensation benefits and HR policies
Oversee HRIS (UKG Pro) and ensure operational efficiency
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred
810 years progressive HR leadership experience
Healthcare industry experience required
SHRM-CP/SCP and bilingual Spanish/English preferred
Proven leadership communication and organizational skills
