Seeking an Instructor for an established kidney lab in the Nephrology Division at UTSW. Job duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to: Compiling writing and submitting research results to supervisor; preparing or assisting in preparation of research papers reports and abstracts for publications as one of co-authors; designing developing or adapting equipment used in experiments or research to obtain desired results; planning and supervising the training of technicians and other laboratory personnel with respect to proper laboratory techniques use of laboratory equipment and safety procedures Experience is needed in molecular biology including nucleic acids extraction and quantification PCR RT-qPCR agarose gel electrophoresis protein extraction and quantification western blot analysis. Additionally experience in working with cultures established from mouse models is preferred. Must have a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences.
