The pharmacy service is open on Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 8pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 2.30pm
How youll help us make health happen:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Outpatient Pharmacist to provide professional leadership and operational management of our outpatient pharmacy team. This senior role combines the responsibilities of a Responsible Pharmacist (RP) with the supervision and support of other RPs ensuring the safe effective and compliant delivery of medicine supply and outpatient clinical pharmacy services.
You will lead a responsive and efficient outpatient pharmacy service ensuring patients receive timely access to medications in line with national and local standards including those set by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) MHRA Home Office and hospital policies. As RP during designated sessions you will foster a culture of safety professionalism and continuous improvement.
You will be an experienced pharmacist with excellent organisational and communication skills to deliver a first-class outpatient pharmacy service. You will be confident in leading teams managing pharmacy operations and working flexibly across shifts.
